Food Recall

image

The Menu Foods recall has stunned and worried thousands of cat and dog owners, especially those who have routinely fed one or more of the recalled products. Pet owners should take the precautions necessary if their pet was eating the impacted foods. It is recommended that you discontinue use of canned or pouched food if the product is on the Menu Food recall list.

It is important that Pet owners frequently review the complete list on the Menu Foods website to view the most updated list of the specific diets that have been recalled. Pet owners with concerns or questions regarding the effective foods should contact Menu Foods at 1-866-463-6738 or online at http://www.menufoods.com/recall.. The AVMA website is another great resource at http://www.avma.org/aa/menufoodsrecall/products.asp

Pet owners who have pets exhibiting signs of vomiting, lethargy, decreased appetite or increased water consumption should contact their veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic such as DoveLewis immediately.
